I got a ASRock Z87 fitted with the i7-4771 CPU and the AMD Sapphire Dual X R9-270x Gpu (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?pid=2039&lid=1)

I know that I can't OC the CPU, but can I OC the GPU only (and/or RAM) only. If so, what benefits do I gain? and how do I go about doing that?

Thanks.

get msi afterburner and follow a YouTube guide. Maybe 10-15% increase in clock speed. dont touch volts just power to max.

they are kinda old videos but, whatever. i use valley to bench (test) my gpu, its the one that pinned on the top of the gpu section, so you can compare. here is the website, we use the  free one.

https://unigine.com/products/valley/

http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2208/unigine-valley-benchmark-1-0/<<<<< where to download. i also use gpuz to verify it, you can find it on the same site.
