I've currently got my OS and a lot of files installed on a Samsung Evo SSD and recently bought another to set them up in a Raid 0 array.

When I make a back up and mirror of my SSD and go to restore it to the Raid 0 it get's to about 80% then fails and says unable to restore backup.

Is there anyway that I can get it to restore to the newly configurerd Raid 0? Or have I just bought a new SSD for nothing?

Thanks, much appreciated.

What kind of system is it and how old is it? What model mobo?

Why put SSD's in RAID 0?! It is barley noticeable? Your choice I guess.

If it is one of the SSD's which is faulty (I am guessing the new one). Try and copy files on it without said and then test to see if it backs up. Then you know if it is the SSD which is fault or not.
