So I have overclocked my Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 GHZ edition is it fine?

I have a Intel Core2duo e8400 CM hyper tx3 for cooling

Intel DQ35MP motherboard

Cooler Master extreme power plus 500w

I have overclocked the gpu like this

GPU clock from 1000Mhz to 1070Mhz

Memory clock from 1025Mhz to 1050Mhz

Temps are 30-35 idle.

Can i take it a bit too far or should i decrease it or is it just fine?

YOu can take it farther, but you won't see much real world performance difference.

Temps under load is what you should check... If those stay under 80 degrees C you should be fine... And just see if the card can handle it, take it step by step up by 10/20Mhz and see what she can have ... :-)

Ahhh actually, I disagree , even the smallest overclocks on a 7770 will yield noticeable performance improvements .

I only got 5 more FPS overclocking mine way more than his is overclocked.

Lol, what? You will not notice any real word performance difference overclocking your GPU 10 Mhz. But you said "smallest" so lets say, 5, or even 2 Mhz.
