I will be changing my chassis, motherboard and power supply, basically gutting out the parts of my old machine...  Now this is the first time ive ever done this, i'm wondering if i need to format my SSD/HDD & reinstall windows.

i don't think you need to format anything, just install the driver of the new mobo

From my experience i have always re-installed windows and started from scratch.

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.

I just swapped out my mobo and CPU. Windows booted just fine, but the potential issues one can run into from vestiges of the old setup--especially drivers that are often hard to find and fully get rid of--make it not worth the risk. It only took a few hours to wipe, re-instlal, and re-setup everything.

Do i have to do anything as far as uninstalling the previous BIOS or something of that nature?  Also, should I install the Mobo drivers before or after?

I have heard that uninstalling the drivers before is better, but I'm not an expert. When I switched from AMD to Intel I just re-installed. You can throw any games or media, on a 2nd drive so you don't have to re-download everything.

Recent games -- LoL, FO4, TESV, XCOM 2, Life is Strange, Overwatch, Ark, Total War Attila, Hearthstone.  <(^^,)>

Thanks guys, i am getting another SSD, i just didn't know which one I should make primary as they are both the same make and size.  I will use the new drive and start fresh, once everything is good using the new SSD I will go in and delete all the windows files rather than uninstall prior to booting up the system.
