Ok i have an ATI Sapphire X1800XT 512mb PCI-E video card from 5 years ago it cost $400 when i got it. It litterally cant play any new games, but back then it was pretty sick. Should i sell it for dirt cheap on craigslist for like $20-$30 or save it and will it be worth more in the future? It was only used for 1 year then put into storage for 4 years lol, dont ask. Must admit, it likely isn't going to become worth more in the future. Might as well sell it on craigslist or ebay.

Sell, its all going down hill as you wait longer. If its not used and its in the box then you could sell it for some but definitely not the same price as the actual release price not even close. Good luck selling it. I had a x1300 pro before. I have no idea where the hell it went.
