Hello, I've been the lucky recipient of some parts to play with, namely a Gigabyte X99 SOC Champion motherboard and a set of Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4x4) DDR4.  It's up to me to purchase the processor and associated items, and I'll be re-using the rest of the parts from my current setup.  I've always been the guy using the stock Intel cooler, and realize the new 5th gen CPUs don't come with one.  I don't have a lot of cash to play with, so what can I get by with to adequately cool this chip at stock speeds?  My main constraint is money (would like to keep it under $60, but *might* be willing to go to $100), but another is my case (which is huge, but old and may not work well with newer coolers).  Here's the case:  http://support.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1433&ID=1404

As I said I have all the remaining parts from my current (admittedly old) setup.  I've got a SSD, a couple video cards, etc.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

A Hyper 212 would suffice but im not sure if it comes with mounting for socket 2011.

All X99 i7 CPUs are unlocked, and are high TDP chips, making investing in an expensive cooler a worthwhile investment. However for your purposes when you were given such items, you might just want to get an i7-5820k and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo cooler. Not the best setup, but it should suffice.
