So all of a sudden to day my sound on my motherboard is bugging out were it's really quite and sounds very bad through front panel and rear

 

Update the back audio works now but when i switch to front audio they try to play through both making such a bad sound

Something your front panel audio cable is running past is probably interfering. I would suggest get a new shielded front panel audio cable.

This is quite common. I don't use front panel audio for the same reason.

no i found the issue the mobo audio is dead because it was working fine for the last month and i pluged it into a different port and its fine just the front audio does not work like its really bad and its not interferance because its been that way for the last month just fine but thanks for the suggestion

The front and rear audio come off the same thing (unless you have a dedicated soundcard) so if it were dead you would have no (or broken) sound on rear audio as well.

does you board still have the AC'97 header or just HD audio?

does you board still have the AC'97 header or just HD audio?

its just HD audio and it seems to be just the 2 ports as when i turn the computer off there is a loud pop that goes through the speakers and when i plug it in to the other port its fine so it seems like front audio is broken because the only audio you get from it is a strange mixture of highs and lows and the back one is just very quiet and distorted. going to contact overclockers in the morning to send me a new one
