fx 6100 oc help!

Sorry for bad English

how high can I overclock my fx 6100 I'm not using stock cooler and have a psu 750 + 80 watt

I'm hoping on getting 3.7 ghz but I don't know if I can get more

what motherboard and cooler do you have?

Depends on the VRM on your motherboard. I was able to push 4.3+Ghz on higher end boards.

Gigabte gx 990 fxa ud3 and some big fans I oc'd it one time to 4.5 ghz stable but power consumption was a issue but I never tried again overclock it to a stable and not so much power consumpting clock speed

on a ud3 you should be fine upto 1.475v on a 6 core chip. that will depend on your cpu cooler. As long as it doesn't go over 60c under full load, then it should be fine
