Tablet won't power on

I just bought an MSI Primo 81 tablet, and I can't figure out how to power it on. I charged it, it appears to be almost full when the little battery icon appears when I plug it into the wall, but while I can find the power button, it just won't turn on. Is there something I'm missing, like having to install something from a pc? I am so confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you connected it to a PC, if yes, does it show up?. If it doesn't power on then try calling MSI
