Hey everyone,

This is the build I'm going to get I'm not sure which cooler to go with. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/soctain/saved/Tw9nTW

Right now I have selected Cooler Master Seidon 240 M, I'm thinking of going with either the H110 or H100i or H100. Been going back and forth a lot help me decide guys, would like the noise be to minimal while maintaining low temps while using the R5 case.

Do you mind explaining further?

With a silence-oriented case like the define R5 you'd want a silent cooler. No AIO is as silent (and long lasting) as an air cooler (not to mention air coolers perform the same or even better while costing less and especially in the case of the dark rock pro 3, look good).

Will the D14 fit in my case perfectly without blocking anything?

Yes. It fit in my brothers define 4 and the define 5 is a little wider so there is no issue fitting it in. I suggest you have a top exhaust - intake config for ample airflow on the top.

As for the front and bottom (if you decide to use the bottom), those should be intake and airflow fans (not corsair, they are super loud). The rear should also be exhaust.

That would be the ideal config for a very silent config (if you use the correct fans that it, i suggest some noiseblocker fans (or noctua, tb vegas, nanoxia, not used more so those are all i can vouch for).

If I change my cooler to the NH14 can't I just use the fans that it comes with? Looking at my build wouldn't already be very quiet? Sorry if these are stupid questions this is my first build because I'm just kind of confused to what you're saying.

Yes, you use the 2 fans that come with the D14 and put them on the cooler (the D14) pretty obviously. You don't have to, but i did recommend that you add additional fans to the stock case fans for better temperatures :)

How many would you recommend and which kind? I guess which Noctua fans would fit in my case

Depending on where you live.

If you live in Canada / US / UK then i would recommend Noctua NF-14 (FLX) or as a cheaper alternative Enermax T.B. Vegas fans.

If you live in Europe (apart from the UK) then i would recommend the newest fans i picked up, nanoxia 140mm. Great for the price.
