My next build

salutations

For the past 4 years Ive had a what i would call a low end build originally made for just playing sc2 on ultra and it did that just fine then D3 came out and it did that fine. Now the game that ive been playing some 90% of the time is csgo and i get 80-100 fps which is ok but Ive caught the itch to build another gaming rig and I'll be giving away my current build to a family member by the end of the year so my next build I wanted to step it up and build a nice gaming rig with a much better....everything. This build might be a bit over kill for just csgo which is probably the game ill be playing most of the time but i want to build something that is leap and bounds better than my old one so its fine by me. its been a while since Ive look up parts so this build is open to more knowledgeable people i would appreciate any idea, changes, info and tips to what you would change or make better just try and it keep to $1500.

nothing is set in stone my thinking is spend some $1500 on just components. Peripherals will either be reuse or bought a bit later on and probably so will be the case (Corsair 600t)

Games ill be playing

CSGO

D3

Sc2

probably other fps games

thanks

Don't need the i7, you will be fine and either get a 750W PSU for future SLI or just get a 550W which is enough for a single GTX970. Also why get Windows 7?

Do you have a monitor? if not get A BenQ 144hz monitor its really good for csgo and no need for i7 just get i5 i get about 400fps with my 280x and i5 you should be getting a lot more than that with a 970 so no need for i7

I would get a 120gb SSD instead of 250. and a 2TB HDD, WD Black Serie to install games.

Also a 750/850w Power supply. if you plan on buying another 970. for SLI, later.

if you do only gaming i5 is enough. Also try buying a Case with a good airflow, or buy extra fans. graphic card with aftermarket cooler dump hot air inside the case.

Only if you download a shit ton of games and never delete them and also constantly download porn/movies you can fill up a 1Tb up fast. I rather have a 250 Gb SSD so I at least have some room to install a few big games which I play a lot. The win7 install takes up a about half of the 120 Gb SSD especially if you install some other programs on it.

This and if you are not gonna OC I wouldn't bother with a 70 dollar Fan cooler but just buy a 212 Evo or other 30 dollar or so good Fan cooler.

Ty for the info on ssd and hdd it does make sense, one card should suffice for now, the idea for the i7 is because i just want it no real reason behind it my budget is $1500 and well i figured why not
