Unable to transfer music to android wear

I selected download music to android wear on my android phone which is 4.4.4 and wear is 5.0.1. And it hasnt completed yet after all night. Could it be compatibility problems between os versions?

I7-6700k, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, 2 x 8GB Corsair Dominator Plantinum ram, ASUS GTX 960 STRIX, sound blaster zx, 1TB boot drive ssd, 128GB/256GB storage ssd, 1TB storage HDD, 4TB of storage (backup),Windows 10 Pro,1000w psu

First off, I'm a bit confused by this post. Also, both OS's should be able to play any commonly formated audio file so I would question your method of transfer and not compatability.
