Is it normal for an AMD A8-7600 to have temps around 60-70 degrees celcius with the stock cooler?

My sister has one since yesterday and I knew they get hot with the stock cooler but I didn't expect it to get that hot..

hot? 60-70 is a perfectly normal temperature.... you only need to be concerned if it goes above 95

I'm used to my 50-60 celcius under load intel system so I thought this was hot. But thanks!

AMD CPU/APU's can take quite a beating, 60-70 degrees is pretty normal for a APU using integrated graphics.

If she use integrated graphics and are bothered by the temps you could put in a dedicated GPU,
A R7 240 would probably have about the same performance if not more and will take off the load from the APU and so it becomes cooler.

For me, the only program that can read my temps accuratly is MSI control center, Everthing else says the temps at idle is at 70 degrees C and under load 99 degrees C.

At idle it should not be that hot, I reach 60 degrees under load with my OC from 3.9Ghz to 4.4Ghz on Stock cooler.

If it were running Too hot it would throttle, A modern CPU is hard to kill.
