What upload speed should i get if i want to live stream video games in HD on twitch?

Somewhere around 5mbps. Remember that your connection to your closest Twitch server may not be as good as your connection to other servers (e.g. Speedtest ones or your ISP).

5mbps + should be good. Depends on how good your connection is to the server! I can handle it easily 9 mbps!

I streamed a few times over my mobile phone's 3G, which was around 3mbps.
