10 Day WU?

I just installed FAH again after a few months and i got a 10 day workunit? What the heck?

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 1866MHz

GPU: Asus Strix RTX 2060 OC

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero 

Storage: 1TB, 500GB, 250GB SSD's, 1TB SSHD

Case: Corsair Carbide Air 540

How long has it been running? I know most of mine give some estimation that is off, then after an hour or so they give an accurate estimation(assuming they are long ones).

It has been running for about an hour now. Its on 8.86 days now :/ Also PPD is 6916 but my PPD a few months ago was 15000+

I'm not really into folding(just a noob), but it almost sounds like you are having a driver issue that is causing poor performance or failing hardware(this is unlikely since your system hasn't crashed in any way). It could also be a terrible WU, but I'm not too sure about this. I would wait later for more responses, since that's more people are on the forums.

What is your gpu usage? if it was unstable it should

have crashed by now though. Wait abit longer, if it

really doesn't go anywhere you could try to dump it

and grab a new wu. If you get the same problems on

the next one, the problem might lie elsewhere. 

 

But i would check how your gpu is doing.

Sorry i forgot to update! It simply needed to stabilize like QueenDemetria said. Anyways thanks for helping guys!

Core 17's are a pain, it should speed up once you get past 3% on the project
