PC Hung On Restart

Hi guys,

I've been having a problem with my pc after doing some upgrades to the gpu, mobo, ram, and cpu. Now when I restart my pc the machine gets hung and doesn't shut down properly or boot up. I am able to cold boot the machine and shut it down, but restarting is an issue.

Here are my specs :

I5 4690k

Gtx970

Msi z87-gd65

Kingston 16gb ram

Corsair 1050w PSU

Corsair m500 ssd

I've tried formatting the hdd, different PSU, unplugging all peripherals, reconnecting all cables, different Sata port and cable, resetting cmos, new motherboard, disk check and memory check. Nothing has helped. Any ideas?

Due to everything you checked it might be an error with the windows installation. did you reinstall after you upgraded?
