Hello guys! I have an 4690k with stock cooler but i want to change it and overclock it. Is there any good air cooler that can handle 4690k at 4.4-4.5Ghz at around 50-60$ ?

Nocuta NH-U14S or the U12S is the one I I recommend alot.

The hyper 212 evo/plus is the best for the dollar, but i think that there is more to a cooler than cooling. It has to perform quietly and look good imho. Check out something from Be Quiet! The dark rock 3 is in that price range i think. If not, the shadow rock series is also excellent. The others were wrong. You can get a good one for that price.

Is Nocuta NH-U14S better than Noctua NH-D14? Btw i was looking at both of them but the color scheme is terrible...

Eh it varies because there is is reviews out there were the U14S is worse then the D14 and were the U14S is better, I have the D-14 myself and its pretty good for the overclock I have and its quiet.

I have the U14s and it is a great cooler, you can even add a 2nd fan for push pull. On my old CPU (not overclocked though) I was steady 30c at idle and 45-49c using prime 95, that was with an Intel i7 980. I'm still deciding on a cooler for my new 4790k.

Current PC build: [CPU: Intel i7 8700k] [GPU: GTX 1070 Asus ROG Strix] [Ram: Corsair LPX 32GB 3000MHz] [Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A] [SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB primary + Samsung 860 Evo 1TB secondary] [PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 750w 80plus] [Monitors: Dual Dell Ultrasharp U2718Qs, 4k IPS] [Case: Fractal Design R5]
