HELP $1200 build

get the gigabyte gtx 970 G1 gaming http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn970g1gaming4gd

wd black are a waste. very loud and expensive for not much gain.that if there is one http://hdd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/WD-Black-2TB-2013-vs-Seagate-Barracuda-720014-2TB/1821vs1619

so get a seagate barracuda http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st2000dm001

i mean you can get a sshd hybrid drive which is much better than a wd black for less money http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st2000dx001

the psu is too much and the price is too high for its quality. the evga g2 750W is better and more than enough for 2x gtx 970 in SLI ,which leads to the next thing... http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr

you choose a super overkill psu and a motherboard with no SLI support

if you don`t plan to SLI a 550W psu is more than enough

everything looks good, except the PSU is overkill.

Just Food for thought: The motherboard you are looking at should have a feature called Intel SRT (smart response technology), which can use up to 64 GB of an ssd to cache a non-raided hard drive. (I used this for a year with a 1TB HDD and 128GB SSD. Boot times, load times etc. were identical to installing windows directly on an SSD). I would suggest grabbing a cheap 128GB SSD and a cheap 2TB HDD, and use Intel RST/SRT. its kind of like an sshd, except with 8 times more ssd cache available, which will help with gaming load times tremendously. WD might have an all-in-one dual ssd/hdd drive like this, but it will cost more I think. Seagates sshd don't have enough ssd cache imo.

I would choose a lesser power supply since you have a 970 and it doesn't need it and get an ssd.  They are the thing i like most about my new computer with OS on it and top 3 favorite games launching and loading in no time.  But that's my opinion and its preference so its up to you

Everything is good, but cut down the power supply, unless you are planning to SLI your 970 or something. You can cut the RAM down to G.Skill Ripjaw X's, they are cheaper and you really don't need the Vengance Pro's unless you actually need them for something very specific.

Otherwise, its good.

LG G4 - Asus Zenwatch 2

Something like this would be better, and cheaper:

Motherboard: Asus Z97-K/CSM ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($119.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Crucial M500 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($80.98 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card  ($339.50 @ Newegg)
Case: Fractal Design Define R5 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($119.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $1130.75

(Changed Storage options, changed PSU, and RAM, still can change a lot of things if you would like to fill up the price to your max for more performance, but I didn't want to get off the course that much.)
