DK2108SZ's backlighting problems

For some reason, the Caps, ScrLk and NumLk keys have their lights always off. Their backlighting is supposed to signal if they are on or off but when i press them the light doesn't turn on. I think that i need to do something with the options but they don't have anything that does that in the user manual.

so....is my keyboard broken, and if not, how do i change that?
