noob xeon question

So, lets say a Xeon is LGA 1150. I can just use any 1150 board right? I don't need anything special right  :wacko:

you could even spend less if you got a h81 board.

I for one appreciate better onboard audio. As for m.2, idk, but it's always nice to have those just in case. Oh and H97 will also support broadwell.
