I recently used amd overdive's auto overclock feature to test it out, and now at boot, as soon as I log into Windows 8, the screen goes black. I'm not sure how to undo th overclock, and have tried reset, removing the cmos battery, unplugging. Any suggestions? Btw, I'm using an AMD fx-600.

EDIT: The problem was solved, it was actually a problem with my graphics driver.

Was your CPU overclocked before? (If yes, was the OC stable?)

What motherboard

Did windows crash when OCing with overdrive

Windows corrupted?

It did have a previous oc, and was slightly unstable so I stuck with stock speeds til now. I have a Biostar TA-970,  and it did while using overdrive. Not sure if Windows is corrupted or not, thanks for your time.

pop into your bios and set it to default, you said it was crashing as it went into windows right? so you should be able to get into your bios. if not look at your motherboard and if there is any switch like the Asus epu/tpu switches(for example) flick em on if it crashes trying to enter your bios
