So I am getting a new cpu and need a new motherboard I went with the msi z97 gaming 5 I am upgrading from the Asus p8z77 vlx and was wondering will i need to reinstall windows last time I did this I went from a Asus to another Asus board and reinstalled windows just becuause I wanted to. Could I just unintelligible all Asus motherboard drivers before removing my old motherboard

Ok i have already done this once and I had to ring Microsoft and give them a very long number from my pc will i be able to Do this again ?

You could uninstall all the old drivers. I would reinstall windows completely if I were you though.

There should be no problem as long as you have that number.

ok can I just go into settings on Windows 8 and use the reset options
