Meteoroids Trouble

So apparently when I installed CoreTemp to my PC I accidentally allowed Meteoroids to be installed. Now I am getting hit with random popups and some game come up on Chrome. I uninstalled the program using revo-uninstall because windows wouldn't remove it. Then I had Norton (save the hate, idc) run a deep system scan that traced over 3 million files and it is still happening. I have also unistalled google chrome and reset it back to all defaults and it is still somewhere on the computer. I need help, I have to get this off....please help.

No need to get the paid version. The free version is spectacular. It finds most bits of adware that most antiviruses (Norton, Kaspersky, etc) miss. Also, check in the extensions for Chrome and make sure those didn't stay installed on the PC and survived the Chrome reinstall.

Seriously though, run Malwarebytes and then restart the computer. If it finds anything, be sure to (after the restart) go to the quarantine tab and "Delete All".
