The PSU and i7 are a bit overkill.

I'd downgrade them to a 500-550W power supply and an i5 and use the saved money to get a PCI SSD instead of a SATA one.

Also I'd go with a high end air cooler instead of a liquid one cause I can't help but worry about pump and tubing reliability on those.

The H100i is quite old, how about a H110, H220-X or Kraken X61 instead?

Dont get a WD Green, ever... get at least a Blue, else switch to Seagate Barracuda

I was wondering, is the gtx 980 really worth the 200-300$ more?

By the by, what monitor do you have at the moment? Both the 970 and 980 are a waste of money if you do not have anything a bit beyond a 60hz 1920x1080. What you will want is something like the Asus RoG Swift, then you can have a justifiable reason to get even 2 970s in SLI.
