To start off, I have an ASRock FM2A88X Mobo. On the rear I/O, there is an HDMI input so that you can run a hdmi device through your computer without changing video plugs on the back of my monitor. Me and my dorm mates wanted to start recording a few Lets Play type videos as filler for his Youtube channel. I got to thinking, hey can I pump the video into my PC, and have it screen capture the video from an Xbox 360? Whenever I hit ALT+Tab to change programs, it says to switch video inputs, press ALT+C. I did that and nothing happens. I gave it a quick Google, and it says that your moniter had tto be plugged into your motherboard. I undid that DVI from my 280X, and plugged it into my mobo I/O. It wont send a video output through it. Is there any way to still use my R9 280x, but output my video stream from my mobo I/O?

(Also, has anyone used this ASRock HDMI Switch before, and any comments about it)

PC:

Windows 7 Pro
