Hi im going to buy a asus g46vw used but the guy said the cmos battery is dead and therefore it wont keep time does anyone know what kind of battery it is and all thw specs about it becauss once I open it up I want to have the battery with me already so I dont have to leave it open for long period of time

I believe that they're generally a CR2032 coin-cell battery. You should be able to buy packs of these for very cheap at any electronics store/website.
