I didn't know the motherboard was a bottleneck for ITX gaming?

Can you please explain?

He can't as there are plenty of decent miTX boards, unless of course he's referring to am3+ boards, in which case non even exist.

And that's a damn shame! Why can't my Phenom have a little fun in a small form factor HTPC from time to time? Hmmph... :(

They aren't bottlenecks. It's just the lack of features I'm accustomed to on larger platforms is my biggest hindrance.

 edit: features including AM3+ compatability :P

Right, you are! I prefer not to spend more on a CPU than my graphics card ($250)

I'm not trying to say AMD is better than Intel, I just don't like spending a ton of money ($150+) on a CPU
