[Origin] High CPU usage. What gives?

Okay, so I am grabbing the "free" copy Origins on Origin at the moment and am curious as to what on earth it could be doing to cause this much load.  I already have it on the PS3 with all the DLC but figured I might as well try it out on the PC. 

My only tree hugging thought is that running the 32-bit origin on a 64-bit system is causing problems. More realistically I am wondering what EA is up to here(did not read the 4 or 5 hundred page TOS agreements), and it could just be while downloading...but even then that is pretty excessive for just downloading.

Not the newest system but it's still a 2GHz Quad, just without the hyper threading.

 

Anybody else getting this sort or load from EA?
