F*** Wireless, get something that has a shot in hell of working well.  All the reviews I've seen are singing this devices praises (just ordered one).

Cool, I suppose, if you hate wireless.

Personally never had a problem with wireless, haven't had a problem with ethernet either, ethernet's just hella inconvenient with its (in my case) long ass cables

Something like this lives between wireless and Ethernet in its impact on users(IMO).  Rather then running a long cable around the house, you may be able to use the nearest outlet instead.  If used in conjunction with a medium length cable it can be fairly flexible.

 

Wireless is fine if you don't have multiple neighbours within your WiFi bubble, or WiFi dead spots that are difficult to otherwise overcome.
