Get The Shield!

Here's some of my favorite emulators as well + a little background. (These are all compatible with the shield as well)

NDS:

Drastic Emulator: ($5.99 but worth it)

It's a paid app, but it is the best NDS emulator you can get.

Drastic was coded, for Android, from the ground-up. The compatibility for this

is also unrivaled. Lots of great features like, Google drive saves, Fast forward,

lots of cheats, and graphical filters for improving textures. However, it does not support

wifi. Wifi support for any DS emulator is non existent.

Nds4droid: (Free)

Nds4droid is a free app, but there lies the problem. The developer who works with this project

is doing so for free. The emulator has grown over the years, so it's a lot better than it once was, but

it lacks the compatibility that Drastic has. This emulator is also using ported resources from the creator of Drastic.

However, don't expect equivalent capabilities.

N64:

Mupen64+(AE); (Free)

This is a great, free, open source, n64 emulator and it's creator, Paul, is a great guy. This is an Android port of the famous Mupen64

for pc. Mupen64+(AE) has a great compatibility list, and it supports high resolution, external textures. Due to the fact that this is open source,

you'll definitely see a lot of clones that blatantly copy the source code, and rewrap the application into an ad filled mess. So overall, be aware of clones

and support the real MUpen64+(AE). Then again.... There are those who have taken the Mupen64(AE) source code and improved the emulator, but it's

difficult to tell who's legitimate or not.

n64oid: (Other app store)

This emulator may not be well known, and that's because there's a huge drama filled story behind it. The creator, Yongzh, took some of the Mupen64 resources,

and he ported the code so efficiently, that the compatibility for most games is still, to this day, better than Mupen64+(AE). I would say that it has taken the Mupen64+(AE) developers a year+, just to have some of the compatibilty that n64oid has. The developer no longer works on this since it was originally

pulled from the Play Store (because he used the Mupen64 source code, and didn't provide the source for what changes he made for it). I still favor this over Mupen!

tbh....there's too many emulators to list.

Too tired to list anything else......
