Hello LTTF,

I'm new to this forum and was wanting ask the community some questions. My cousin is possibly upgrading his GPU ,so he'll sell me his EVGA GTX 660. I'm not sure if it is the same exact model as my EVGA GTX 660. I know both have 2 GB of VRAM. Do I need the same exact card model and manufacturer or would it be okay the way it is. Also, I only have 1 monitor , so if I SLI my cards would still improve performance on 1 monitor? Last question is would it matter where I plugg my DVI cable into any of the graphics cards? Thanks for taking to time to answer my silly questions!

As long as they're both 660's and 2GB each, you'll be fine. You don't need the same manufacturer.

Thank you very much, but do you anything about the 1 monitor situation?

And for you're other questions, your performance would be better since you only have 1 monitor, and I think you need to use the top GPU for the ports (I could be wrong).
