Have this Seagate drive. Started acting funny like loading files slow in file explorer and giving errors while saving things to it. Well ran a SMART test on it and it came back with 0% health. Toke it out of service and pooped in a backup drive. Now thing thing is I wanna get as much off this drive as possible then reformat it to send it back for warranty. I tried just file dropping in Windows but it will time out. If I go a file at a time I can get it. Was hoping some sort of program exists to get as much data as it can off this bad drive and then format it in a way that the Seagate dude won't be able to see all the filthy porn I saved on it. Any recommendations?

Finish backing up the drive but I would care less about them seeing any data, its not like they will do anything other than their default system test and chuck it to the recycle pile. Then get the new one or two (RAID 1 so you don't lose data again).

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.
