My gaming rig (i5 2500k GTX 570)

Aycee

PC Specs

Intel i5 2500k @stock speed - for now, plan to overclock soon

Corsair H100i Liquid CPU Cooler

Asus P8P67 EVO B3 Motherboard

Corsair vengeance 8GB 1600mhz RAM

Asus GTX570 DC2 Graphics Card

OCZ Agility 3 120gb Solid State Drive

Western Digital 500gb Hard Drive

Corsair GS700w Power Supply

Corsair Carbide 500r case

LG 21.5" 1920x1080 Monitor

Logitech z323 Speakers

My first and only build, just turned 16 and with the help of various you tube tutorials I managed to make this beast.

It's now a last generation PC, built 6 months ago and many parts are not now the 'latest and greatest'.

Added the h100i in recently and plan to overclock my CPU soon.

It has 9 fans in total... Still pretty quiet when playing games ;)

Pictures

Back when I first built it, all the parts laid out on the table.

Looks great man; really nice, solid and clean build. Any ideas for what keyboard / mouse you thinking of getting? Mechanical? :D

This is a nice looking machine, great work. Corsair cases really are nice, the cable management is a dream.

Yes! the 500r is a dream to build in, can make the cable's tuck away nicely.

Can you do a "night shot" ? The Corsair 500R + GS700w is awesome, we need to see all the lights.

It doesn't come out too well in the camera but here you go anyway :)

The lights look slightly blue although they are actually all white.

The PSU filter blocks all the light from the GS700 or the PSU lights are not powerfull enough ? :( (I was thinking of doing that exact build case/psu for the light effect, I'm sad to see that is not working exactly as I was imagining)

Anyway, gratz' for the build !

It doesn't really block the light, it still comes out from behind. It's hard to see in the pictures, it does look a lot better in person :)
