All Use Gaming Headset Request

Hi there, I'm looking for a specific type of gaming headset. I'm currently looking for a headset which I can use not only for gaming (with a mic since I don't have a standalone) but mobile too, for music listening out and about.

 

I'd prefer wireless, bluetooth connection to mobile, but will look at wired. I don't really have a specific price range.

 

These are the ones I've looked at and liked the most:

- Turtle Beach z300

- Turtle Beach Z Seven

- SteelSeries H Wireless

 

I know turtle beach has bluetooth capability on most of their headphones, it's mainly the removable mic I like with the z300 (and the Seven Series too). Any suggestions or negative experiences with any of these headsets?

They all suck. You're paying $10 for the actual headset and the rest of the brand. HyperX Cloud is the only good headset and if you don't want that, You'll need to go for separate headphones and a mic.

I actually own Turtle Beach X12's right now, and I think they're great quality myself. Maybe because I know very little about audio and haven't tried enough headphones to be able to hear the difference. The thing I don't like about those though is the cable is really long and it has separate jacks for usb, audio, and mic, which make it annoying if I were to have in my pocket. Plus the mic doesn't detach.

 

If I looked separately I know that opens my options up, so maybe I'll look at that. Though I know nothing about mics.
