So im in the process of picking parts for a new PC I'm building but I'm stuck on choosing a few things and would like any feedback and advice. This is intended mostly for gaming but may also be doing other stuff.
I have a budget preferably no more than 2.5K.
My parts choices are:

Are there any other cases with front facing I/O like this as well as a front door?

Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H Motherboard $189.00 I can never seem know exactly what to look for in a mobo. Thoughts on this one?

Is the 780ti worth the extra $300?

total $2061

Prices in AUD

Thanks for any replies

Check out the Phanteks Enthoo Pro, best case on the market IMO, only $99 dollars. supports EATX, has the best tooless hard drive caddys that i have ever seen, and more importantly, is designed for extreme watercooling and has 8 expansion slots so 4-way SLI/Crossfire is possible

Also,if u are sending 2.5K, get into X99, also, i would suggest getting something like an EVGA Supernova 1000w P2 power supply if u are spending this much

Current Rig:   CPU: AMD 1950X @4Ghz. Cooler: Enermax Liqtech TR4 360. Motherboard:Asus Zenith Extreme. RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR4 3666. GPU: Reference GTX 970  SSD: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO.  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro. PSU: Corsair RM1000X. OS: Windows 10 Pro UEFI mode  (installed on SSD)

Peripherals:  Display: Acer XB272 1080p 240Hz G Sync Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Brown Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB Headhet: Roccat XTD 5.1 analogue

Daily Devices:Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and 128GB iPad Pro

What benefits would I get from X99? Why would I need a 1000W?

for future upgrades and quality. X99 supports more cores, and the base 5820K costs around the same as the 4790K and has 6 cores, 15MB L3 cache and supports upto 3 graphics cards. the "big daddy" 5960X is an 8 core with support for 4-way SLI and has 20MB L3 cache. you will see a significant performance increase when it comes to productivity due to >=50%more cores and cache as standard..

also the R9 295X2 is $999 dollars in the US (nout sure about australia), so pick one of rhose up and $1500 remaining will be enough for the rest of the components for an X99 system
