I recently (well around 4 months ago) bought a new computer and I decided to buy the Scythe Ninja 3 CPU air cooler. Back before I got it I thought it'd all be fine, even when I'd like to OC my CPU (4670k), but then when it arrived I found out it's just insanely bulky and huge. To further explain - it stands just around 1-2 mm away from the side window of my NZXT Phantom 410 and it also blocks me from expanding my memory (which is also something I'm planning on doing soon), because I'm currently using HyperX Beast T3 memory which is not low profile, to say the least. Also, having the memory in dual channel meant I can't place the fan towards the front of the case to pull air through, so I had to do something really annoying and it's now facing the back of my graphics card.

I'm looking to spend around 80-140$ and buy a new air/liquid cooling solution to fix the problem, and I'll probably be looking to OC my CPU to around 4.3GHz (I don't think I'm gonna go any further, the heat over here in the summer is pretty bad and I think I'll just keep it moderate for now to suit everything I need).

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Currently I've been looking on two different coolers, one is the Corsair H60, which will probably look good but won't outperform my current second choice, Noctua's NH-D14.

Bear in mind that over here the current price difference is around 17$ between the two (The H60 is more expensive), and switching to something like even the H80i or H90 is going to pass my budget plans.
If you need the site I'm using to look for the cooler just mention it and I'll link it.

Go with a h100i its with in your budget and you should be able to oc with it

If you have high Profile RAM it would fit better with a liquid cooler

A NZXT Kraken would be the high end and a Corsair h100i would be the lower end Liquid cooler you could get.

Usually I'd reccomend Air coolers (Dark rock pro 3 or NH-D14/15) but if it doesn't fit these are great options

First, I'm not going with a "liquid cooler is the only option" point of view here, so Noctua fans would be a great choice for me, as right now I'm not looking to make my rig look the best and most impressive because I lack the money and space to do so.

Second, as much as I'd like to order from Amazon (great back to school discounts at the moment), I'm not going to do so because it'll be a huge hassle to handle shipping if anything happens to the cooler later on, so I'd like to make the purchase in a local store/order it from somewhere in my country so everything goes a little bit quicker.

Third, just looked it up and it seems a lot of Noctua's air coolers will overhang at least over the first DIMM slot and since the Beast T3 is pretty cheap over here, plus it can clock up to 2400MHz (which is what I have on my current 2 sticks) I'd like to get another 8Gig kit of those, which are 46mm tall... Anyone knows an air cooler that has some sort of dent or something and can work around really tall memory?

If not, are there any other good but cheaper liquid cooling solutions? Mostly looking for Thermaltake/CM/Antec/Corsair branding (since that's what we have over here) with LGA1150 chip compatibility. Thanks

pcpartpicker is pretty good to see if the parts fit, If the cooler doesnt fit it will give a warning that it may not fit.

Im not sure which coolers that fit with high profile RAM.

@FireCharge,

The NH-D14 and NH-D15 will have issues with tall memory in their nominal configuration. They are also tall, but will fit the case. You could go for the NN-U12S which should not have any issues. The NH-U14S is a bit taller but should fit as well. I don't think it would have an issue with memory.

You might consider the Corsair H100i. It will provide decent cooling and will not have any issues with memory - it will also let the motherboard show better.

I am currently considering it. It's almost 150% of my budget but I am currently getting fixed on getting some more funds into it and will probably do that. About what you said about the U12S and U14S, I checked those out and they will probably have a problem with the first memory slot, so I'm pretty fixed towards getting a liquid cooler at the moment.

You could get a liquid cooling system or better yet change your case to a Cooler Master, after my computer short circuited I got a great deal on a Cooler Master and it keeps things nice and chill as well as save on my energy bill.

Don't need a new case, the NZXT Phantom 410 is great! I'm not getting the cpu cooler because I need to cool the cpu more, I am getting one because the current one is problematic with my system and because I want to expand my ram to 16 gigs I need space for that, so a case won't change anything because it's a motherboard+ram issue (clearance from the right side of the CPU socket on an ATX board), plus overclocking it finally will be a bonus.

...

From Noctua's NH-U12S web page,

"100% RAM compatibility

Thanks to its slim design with only 45mm fin depth, the NH-U12S will not overhang the RAM slots even with two fans installed. This gives the user full access to the memory modules on all current CPU sockets and guarantees 100% compatibility with tall heatspreaders or optional memory fans.*"

The asterisk refers to some AMD motherboards.
