Google Chrome freezing/crashing/not responding

a few days ago, everytime i would open chome, it would flat out stop responding- freezes then windows tells me it's stopped responding. tried all of the obvious- restarted, virus/malware scan, uninstall/reinstall, beta/non beta, creating new profile, resetting browser settings- nothing works. its really irking me, i cant stand any of the other browsers. anything you guys cna do to help?

Use firefox.

Uninstall.then go here C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local and delete the folder called google. Then reboot and reinstall see if that helps

for some reason, undoing my overclock helped.
