Can i change boot drive?

So i recently ordered parts for my gaming pc, and i did not order an SSD because of budget reasons. So my question is: Will i be able to in the future order an SSD and move my OS on to it for faster booting and overall speed?

Yes, with the Samsung tool.

So it only works with Samsung SSD's?

You will be able to move your OS with cloning software such as Acronis True Image. Most drive manufacturers have tools to use (many of them re-skinned versions of Acronis anyway) which you can use for free with that manufacturers drive. When you clone it you need to make sure the OS will fit on the drive of course, but also that the partition size is small enough. That being said most tools can resize the partition to clone it correctly, assuming the data will fit.

Samsung do have cloning software, but you can clone any drive, and most new SSDs come with software. What SSD are you thinking of buying?
