That seems a lot more reasonable and it would allow you to upgrade and save the rest of the money from your budget.

Now, just make sure to have fun and do your research, if you need help don't hesitate in asking the forums or PM'ming(?) me or anyone here.

Does windows 8.1 support alot of games, i have a friend that was having issues with games on 8.1

yea the keyboard is way overpriced i would go for the 780ti sc acx it runs cooler and its the one i have possibly even the classified you would have to look at benchmarks and decide if the performance increase is worth the money for you and 780ti is overkill for 1080p

1000w psu is overkill

okay, i'll keep researching and againg thanks for the help

okay well i may choose that instead of 7 then. Thanks to you also for helping a noob out

Surprisingly gaming in 8.1 gives you better fps than 7, I've tested so no worries here

I'd like possible criticism and changes for a high end gaming pc. I live in America with about a 4k budget,

Planning on running dual monitors, I'll need peripherals also.

I understand AMD isn't the best for a gaming pc but I've already purchased it and the motherboard.

Any other questions I'll answer as promptly as possible.

Thank you

Is there any chance you could return the motherboard ? At this budget you should be going for Intel. That AMD cpu will run very hot.

Also if you are planning on gaming across two monitors ? It won't be very good, as the bezel will be right in the middle.

Not really, i've miss placed papers to mail back

Do you not have a 'cooling off' period in the usa ? In uk we get 7/14 days to return unwanted items even without a receipt. You just need proof of purchase i.e bank statement, credit card statement etc.

If you definitely can't return it then i would suggest going for the fx-8350 cpu instead.

thanks for helping me out, and is this a better build

I would suggest a better cpu cooler. I believe the H110 will fit in the case.

The psu is not a great choice. Reportedly it is quite loud and does not manage its fan terribly well. EVGA 220-P2-1000-XR is a much better choice. Good alternatives are SeaSonic X-1050 and XFX P1-1050-BEFX among others.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

 would the 1000w be necessary?

Not based on the parts in the build. But it does allow for an easy upgrade to SLI. A much better choice for the build as is would be EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR. Which, incidentally very well priced at the moment. SeaSonic SSR-750RM or XFX P1-750B-BEFX (which may be essentially the same psu) would be reasonable alternatives.
