HTPC AM1

It's pretty much what the title implies. I always wanted a cheap system and I always wanted an mITX system and with the release of the 250D and it's arrival on the big computer store where I shop from I am in thoughts. Because it is an ultra cheap build if I actually do it it will first be on the top of the motherboard box and it will get half of the ram of my gaming rig.

Parts:

MSI AM1i

AMD Athlon 5350

Corsair VS450

Kingston beast 1866MHz 8gb

Adata SP600 64gb with ubuntu

Corsair 250D

remember that the only difference between the 5150 and 5350 is the frequency. Also if you want to save AM1 is a single channel platform, so 1 or 2 sticks doesn't matter.

Otherwise if all's ordered, nice :P

The 5150 isn't available to me. I can only buy the 5350 and the 2650. The difference is 30 euros. Is the 5350 worth it?

The 2650 is dual-core and has a different iGPU

Keep 5350 then, AM1 is sweet :P

I will! ;) thanks!
