H440 LED cables

So the H440 comes with a 1-pin LED P+, 1-pin LED P-, 2-pin HDD LED, 2-pin POWER SW  and a 2-pin RESET SW which comes to a total of 8-pin. My question is am I supposed to plug this to the motherboard or the power supply? Thanks and sorry for the absolutely dumb question.

Those are your front panel headers, they go on the front panel header on the motherboard. You couldn't even plug them in a power supply if you tried unless you modified the connectors, which if you went that far something should have told you it was wrong.

Motherboard if I understand what you are talking about. Also its not a dumb question. You have to learn these things somewhere and there is no shame in asking and question that might seem obvious.
