Hi all!

Most of my parts have been shipped to me already, now I am just waiting for the cpu (i7 4790k) and a few other peripherals.

However, I was looking up to purchase a surge protector and came upon the topic of UPS to protect my computer (stuff like dirty power? and blackouts). All I am looking for is a UPS that is compatible with my EVGA SuperNova 750w PSU. I'm not sure what pure sine wave has to do with these things, but apparently there are incompatibilities if the PSU uses that but the UPS does not.

Some of the features I think are important:

- 5 minutes of power to let me shut down in the case of a blackout

- protection from a power surge

- regulates the power input so my stuff doesn't get fried

Please share your experience and advice, I am really confused about choosing the correct UPS!

Here is my build:

The estimated wattage is 507w but I am going to OC the i7 4790k to 4.5ghz so I don't know if that will affect that at all.

Help? :c
