Been looking for a new PSU, found the Cooler Master V Platinum 1100 V2. This thing looks to fits my needs perfectly.

Problem is, I'm in Europe and no retailer on this continent seems to have the thing.

It's listed on paper as model number MPZ-B002-AFAP-BEU but physically, I've not been able to find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where to get this thing from on my continent?

If not, could someone recommend a different PSU that actually is available?

Specs I need:

  L   x   W   x   H

160 x 150 x 86 mm

6x 6+2 PCIe

3 SATA

In the 1000W-1200W range

If it matters, the case I'm using is a Cooler Master TD500 Max

Any possible help would be greatly appreciated.

What hardware are you planning on using with the new PSU?

There are many 1000w PSU's available in Europe and a few 1200 as well.

The Cooler Master V Platinum 1100 V2 only has 5x 6+2 PCIe and you say you require 6?

Ryzen 9 7900X

MSI X870 Tomahawk
Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT
Couple M.2 and SATAs
2 for CPU_PWR1 + 2, 3 for the GPU, 1 for JPCIE_PWR1 which the manual says is be filled too.

Yeah, there seems to be a mistake in the CM documentation, but looking at the images, that PSU has 7x 6+2.

The JPCIE_PWR1 is entirely option and can be skipped, it does nothing for the hardware you are running.

The 7900x can actually run on one 1x8pin CPU power connector as this connector is rated for +300w while the 7900x is nowhere near that.

But if you want to use two cables for the CPU I would say that you only need 5x6+2 PCIe connectors, the JPCIE_PWR1 can be skipped.

1000w is plenty for this system, 1200w is rather overkill...  This system would comfortably run on a 850w as well.

Just get a decent 1000w like a Corsair RM1000x, Be Quiet Straight Power 12 / Pure Power 12 or a Seasonic 1000w PSU.

Here is the updated PSU Tierlist.

Apologies, turns out I'm a moron who tends to get things confused after a day of comparing PSUs.
It wasn't JPCIE_PWR1, it was PCIE_PWR1. Does that make a difference?

No, that makes no difference.  You don't need to have PCIE_PWR1 connected at all with your setup.

I dont quite understand why MSI have done this because it has caused more confusion than good... We have had a lot of people coming in here thinking they need to use this connector for the PC to work in a perfect order.

Its mainly there to increase stability on PC's using multiple GPU's, expansion cards and similar.
For a single CPU/GPU system it makes no difference at all. Imagine how many systems with B650/X670/B850/X870 with 9800X3D/9950X3D's and RTX 5090 there are without this extra connector.

@Hinjima has good advice.   Almost all of us just run on either a 4pin or 8 pin CPU power, depending on age of machine.  I know of no one personally at work, friends, anywhere that uses both 8 pin on the motherboard.  I do not in any of my 7800X3D rigs or my other machines.

In fact, the most I have ever run is 4x 8 pins.... 1 for CPU, 3 for GPU.  Done.

Understood. Decided to go with a Seasonic Focus GX-1000.

Thank you.
