I am experiencing an issue with the NVIDIA app where pressing Alt+Z does not open the overlay. This might be because I deleted the folder where it saves recorded videos. I have reinstalled the app and even tried using AutoHotkey, but it didn’t resolve the problem.

Previously, the only solution that worked was making a new windows profile, but I would like to avoid doing that again.

Could you please advise on alternative ways to fix this issue?

Its likely an nvidia app issue IMO. I pretty consistently have issues getting the overlay to work, as well as the performance/FPS overlay. It won't work for days/weeks, and then suddenly will work again. I actually just tried it and it's working for me after not working at all since i installed BF6. I opened the nvidia app, and it just installed an update for me, so i guess that's what fixed it

Only happened to me a couple of time and a reboot or at least restartin the app fixes it. When in doubt, DDU. Problem solved.
