Computer specs:

MotherBoard: MSI MPG B650 Edge WiFi Gaming Motherboard

Ram: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR5 Ram 32GB

GPU: maxsun Geforce RTX 4070 Ti

Hello to whomever is reading. I've been busy they past few weeks where i havent been able to use my computer. When i came back to it i realized that i had no display and everything inside was lit up and running and i had a solid cpu and dram light on. And every attempt at a restart just left me with no display and unable to get into bois

Things ive tried to get it working again.

1.) Tried removing all ram and using 1 stick in 2nd slot. Tried with both ram sticks

2.) Removed and reseated cpu.

3.) I've cleared the CMOS

At this point im starting to think it might be a motherboard issue or cpu. Any suggestions on the matter would be awsome!

@BillBill Will having the cpu cooler on it make it post? Didn't want to put the cpu all back together if I needed to take it out again. I thought you can have the cooler off of it for a bit to just to check it it would boot into bios.

You would at least need to have the cooler plugged into the CPU fan header.

@BillBill Yeah cpu cooler is still plugged into the header. still a no go on booting to bios. Also just tried flashing CMOS to see if that would help and nothing on that front either.

I would place the cooler on top of the CPU. You don't have to secure it down while just testing things. Make sure that the case is laying flat on it's side. Check every connection. Make sure the CPU is properly seated. Along with the RAM. Without a cooler at all. The CPU will get too hot too fast. The PC needs to do memory training which is fast for most motherboards. That CPU and motherboard should work without needing to do a BIOS update. You can update the BIOS later. Have one RAM stick in slot A2 and the other one in B2. I have noticed that sometimes building a system. Having a dedicated GPU with a blank drive. It took a little extra time to display anything. While other times it didn't. So make sure that CPU has cooling and then wait awhile.
