its probably nothing but the fans on the gpu turn on and off   s and I don't believe it was doing that in the beginning  or I just never notice I am  new to this  and just want to be sure everything is running right

times below are how often it goes on and off

fan first  time on 17.07

fan first  time off 1.26.42

second time on 17.43  four lap don't count I just paused it

What exact GPU do you have?

Is this during idle or light gaming / workload?

Most modern GPU's have an Zero Fan Mode so the fans stop spinning when the load is light to reduce noise and wear.

Describe exactly how you use the PC when this happens.

when I look at the performance in task manger is it says AMD Radeon RX 6600.  appreciate  the help the  information definitely makes me feel Better.  when I went to my bios all the fans are set the silent mode right now as I'm writing this I haven't loaded up any games I only have discord and the browser with one tab open at the moment and it does go on and off but it's  not immediate. I just turned the  ac on then powered on the pc five minutes later    I put my pc into sleep mode and waited for it to be a little cooler and got different times

fan on 14.48

fan off 3.00.34

fan on 15.79

fan off 3.18.76

fan on 14.35

and one other question I feel like I already know but is it normal for all the fans to spin on start up thanks again

yeah, that's pretty normal for modern gpu's, as Hinjima stated.

the on-off cycle looks about right as it is keeping the gpu within a specific temp range

I wouldn't stress over it much if at all.

Yes, some gpu's and some motherboards spin all the fans to max at boot.

Ever start a Dell PowerEdge server? sounds like a friggin' jet taking off.
