System specs:
ASROCK B650hdv/m.2
Ryzen 5 7600
G.skill Flare x5 32gb 6000mt/s
AMD RX 7800 XT
Seasonic FocusGX 850
Crucial P3 2TB SSD
Corsair 4000D Airlfow case.
I've built this PC in late 2024 and since then i ran my gpu undervolted, from 1150mv to currently 1100mv, i had it even lower before. And my gpu memory increased to 2526mhz, i played with clocks and voltage a lot so settled to these settings.
My problem is as far as i remember happening on CS2 only but i could be wrong. The entire PC would just randomly reboot. Few weeks ago( maybe even longer but didnt notice/play demanding games so no huge load) my psu started buzzing mostly when playing demanding games, turned out it was the fan bearing failing, i kept playing lighter games so the fan doesnt start spinning, mostly cs2 as i said and the entire system would reboot still, i noticed it happening a few times when i alt tab during loading or something happening in game like end round/match. I found a lot of posts about alt tabbing in cs2 is broken but before i wrote this post i had cs2 in the backgroud running while browsing twitter/x for 10+minutes and my entire pc froze and then rebooted 2 seconds later. This is exactly the thing that was happening when i went too far with undervolting/overclocking the gpu before. But this is far from a big undervolt/overclock and i doubt cs2 would reveal an unstable undervolt/overclock where other more demanding games dont. I replaced my seasonic psu with a BeQuiet PowerZone2 platinum 850w last week but the pc keeps rebooting still. It could go days without any reboots, even when playing demanding games where i try OC the gpu even more, its just stable. Windows event viewer doesnt tell me anything, ran a program called WhoCrashed but there are no minidump files even when windows is set to create one. Ran memtest86 for 4 passes, 0 errors. Ran everything, from prime95 for cpu, occt for everything, heaven, furmark, no overheating no crashes. Crystal disk info says the ssd is 99% ( good). I just did sfc /scannow  and it found some corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Something in C:\Windows\Log\CBS. No idea what this is. I also just switched power plan to balanced instead of high performance in windows options. I also updated the BIOS to the latest 3.30 version, gpu driver also up to date. Anyone able to help me resolve this issue?

One thing I've noticed is that MemTest86 is effective at catching serious memory issues, but it doesn't cover everything. It’s not really designed to simulate how your PC behaves during real-world use — like when you're alt-tabbing between apps, loading up a game, or juggling multiple heavy tasks at once. That’s when small stability problems can show up — and those don’t always leave behind clear errors or crash logs.

Also, keep in mind: when you enable EXPO or XMP, you're running your RAM above the industry-standard baseline (called JEDEC). That’s totally normal — your RAM is designed for it — but it still puts more pressure on the system. AMD's Ryzen 7000 CPUs (especially the non-X3D models) can be a little touchy with higher-speed DDR5, depending on the board, BIOS, and even the quality of the memory controller in your chip.

Try to: Disable EXPO/XMP and See What Happens

Here’s a test to rule out memory speed issues:

  1. Reboot and head into your BIOS (tap Del or F2 as your PC starts up).

  2. Find the section for memory settings — it might be labeled OC Tweaker, AI Tweaker, or something similar depending on your motherboard.

  3. Look for the setting called EXPO or XMP and turn it off.

  4. Save your changes and restart.

Once that’s done, your RAM will default to running at a slower, more stable speed — usually 4800 MT/s for DDR5. It’s not ideal for performance, but it’s rock-solid and great for testing.

If your system stops rebooting after this, there’s a strong chance your previous RAM settings were a bit too aggressive — even if everything “looked fine” in MemTest.
