Just got a 5070ti

my PSU(rm750x) has a 12v 2x6 pcie to 12v 2x6 pcie cable

Should I use that or should I use 3 pcie type 4 cables into the splitter dongle

Use the one that came with the Corsair power supply.

It will look a bit cleaner 🙂

it really doesn't matter though, both will work just fine with the 5070 Ti.

Just to confirm pcie 12v 2x6 to 12v 2x6 cable? :)))

Correct 🙂

I use that with my own RTX 4080 with a Corsair RM1000x, works great.

The cable connectors itself is very snug so you might use a bit of force to push it into the PSU and GPU.

You might have to use a more force than you feel comfortable with.

100% agree. When I got my RTX 4070 TI, I was really anxious applying the amount of pressure it took to insert the plug all the way. To me it felt like something could break at any moment but in reality, it would probably have taken a lot more force to break it. You really gotta force that shit in

Something I had happening on my 3090 Ti was one of the lower data pins being slightly out of shape resulting in it being crushed at the back of the connector. Don't know if that was on my behalf though as I bought it used, I have never had this happen before on 40series cards..
