Hi all, I just assembled a new build yesterday (9800X3D + RX9070XT + Artic Liquid Freezer III 360 AIO).

At idle the CPU is around 48°C but my room is an oven at this point (no AC, under the roof).

So I started my first game, Arma Reforger, no overclock whatsoever, everything set to Ultra and it averages around 80fps on a 1440 which is a huge improvement from my old build (i7 + RTX2070ti) that averaged around 35fps with pretty much all settings set to low/average.

I noted something strange though, the CPU load was barely reaching 25% and it stayed at 15% most of the time. Not only that, but it did not go to its boost clock, which is supposed to be 5.2Ghz and it stayed at its base clock of 4.7Ghz. The temperature did not exceed 60°C.

It gives me the weird feeling that the CPU had pretty much nothing to do at all, is that to be expected for a game like that? Are these values normal?

You fail to mention what CPU you have..

I am guessing a 9800X3D by the base and boost clock?
