Budget (including currency): ~ $2,500 USD

Country: USA, Specifically ND

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly RPGs, Baldurs Gate, Elden Ring, whatever comes next.

Other details Right now I've got an old laptop, so I will need a whole build, from keyboard to monitor. I will have 2 monitors running but I already have a meh second monitor so I just need to buy a nice proper main one. I do have a nice mouse but no keyboard. I just don't know hardly anything about what's good, it all changes too quick. Last time I looked into building a pc the 30 series GPUs were all the rage. I don't live near any computer stores, the nearest microcenter is like 250 miles away and the best buy here sucks, so I'll be ordering online.

you could probably do a 9800x3d and a 7900xtx if you don't care much about aesthetics, if you do you could probably do something around a 9800x3d and a 4070ti (5070 has performance issues and is too expensive atm). a 9070xt could also be good, but prices are really high because of scalpers at the moment.
